The Royal Regency is located at No: 1/1A on Dera Venkatasamy Street in Triplicane. If you know Chennai at all, you know Triplicane is a very old and crowded part of the city with a lot of history. We are right in the middle of all that. The street is narrow, and there’s always something happening right outside our doors. It’s a lively place to be, that’s for sure. We operate from this spot and handle the guests and visitors who come through. It’s not a giant modern hotel with hundreds of floors; it’s more of a local establishment that fits into the neighborhood. We spend a lot of time making sure things are tidy and that everyone who stays with us has what they need. Sometimes the humidity in Chennai gets a bit much, but we have our fans and ACs going to keep it comfortable inside. Being on Dera Venkatasamy Street means we are close to a lot of the local sights and the beach isn’t too far off either. We’ve been part of the Triplicane scene for a while now. We don't use a lot of fancy words to describe ourselves. We are just a place for people to stay when they are in Chennai. It’s hard work keeping everything running, but we have a good rhythm. It’s a family-like atmosphere here among the staff. We just do our best. That is how we’ve always managed to keep going.
