The Raintree

You can find us over at Flat 8 on the second floor. The building is on 21st Cross here in Bangalore, 560 093. It’s a bit of a climb up the stairs if the lift is being slow, but it’s not too bad. We’ve been in this space for a while. It’s a regular apartment that we’ve turned into our work area. There are windows that look out over the street, so we can see the rain when it starts—which happens a lot in this city. It’s a small team here. We don't have a reception desk with a fancy person waiting to greet you. Usually, whoever is closest to the door just opens it. We spend our days handling various tasks and paperwork. It can get a bit crowded when we have a lot of files, but we manage. The 21st Cross area is okay, though parking can be a real headache some days. We just tell people to park a block away and walk. We don't really do the whole professional corporate thing. We talk to each other like normal people and we treat our visitors the same way. It’s a low-key environment. We have a small kitchen area where we make tea. It’s a simple life, and we like the location because it’s close to everything we need. Nothing fancy, just us in a flat doing our daily tasks and trying to stay organized.
