The Leela Palace,Bangalore

Even though the name says Bangalore, we are actually located in Bikaner, Rajasthan. You can find us at 186, 5-D in the JNV Colony. It’s a quiet residential area, which is nice because it stays pretty calm at night for the guests. We are definitely not a huge palace, just a local place where we have some rooms for people to stay. The building is simple and doesn't have any of that fancy stuff you might find in a big city hotel. We spend our days making sure the rooms are ready and the guests have what they need. It gets really hot here in the summer, as you’d expect in Rajasthan, so we spend a lot of time making sure the coolers are working right. We don't have a big staff, just a few local people who know the area well. We like to sit outside in the evening when the temperature drops a bit. It’s a friendly neighborhood, and we know most of the people living around us. We don't use any fancy language to describe what we do. We just provide a place to sleep for travelers passing through Bikaner. Sometimes people are a bit confused about the name when they first arrive, but once they settle in, they don't seem to mind. It’s an honest, simple way to make a living. We've been here for a good while.
