We aren't the ones you see in the fancy uniforms at the front desk. We’re the ones in the basement or behind the walls making sure the lights stay on and the water stays hot. It’s an old building in some ways, and it needs a lot of looking after. Bangalore’s climate can be tough on the equipment sometimes. We spend our days with tools in our hands, fixing things that break. It’s not a clean job, and it’s certainly not quiet. There’s always the hum of a generator or the sound of a drill somewhere. We don’t write big reports with fancy words. If something is broken, we fix it. That’s our whole deal. We’ve been based at the Airport Road location for years.
