The Grand Magrath Hotel

If you are looking for us, we are down on the ground floor over at 1st Cross in Jai Jawan Nagar. It’s part of the Subbanapalya area in Banaswadi, Bangalore. The Grand Magrath Hotel has been around here for a while, and we just try to keep things running smoothly for anyone who stays with us. It’s not one of those massive skyscraper hotels you see in the city center. We are more of a local spot. The staff here mostly lives nearby, so we know the shortcuts and where to get a good meal. Our place at number 24 is easy enough to find once you get off the main road. We spend our days checking people in, making sure the rooms are tidy, and answering the phone. Bangalore traffic can be a headache, so we often tell people the best times to head out if they have a meeting. We don’t go in for all that corporate talk. We just want the beds to be clean and the water to be hot. Sometimes the lobby gets a bit crowded when a group arrives, but we manage. It’s a lot of work keeping an old building looking decent, but we do what we can. People seem to like that we are in a quieter part of town like Banaswadi. We are just a regular hotel team trying to do an honest day’s work.
