The Grand Ashok

Right now we are still in Hanumanthnagar, at Dhondusalyout. It’s a bit of a quiet spot in Bangalore-19. But the big news around the office is that we are shifting to Pune base very soon. Everyone is talking about it. We are busy packing up some of the things and figuring out the move. It’s a lot of work to move a whole business. We’ve been at this address for a while, so it’s a bit strange to be leaving everything behind. The neighborhood is nice and we have some regular people who stop by to say hello. We aren’t really taking new long-term things here because of the move coming up. Our current place is just a regular building, nothing too special. We have a few rooms and a small front area. The boxes are starting to pile up in the corners now. It makes the place look a bit messy and cluttered. We tell everyone who calls about the move so they don't show up here and find an empty building. Pune is a long way off. Some of the staff are going, some are staying here in Bangalore to find other work. It’s a bit of a transition time for us. We are just trying to keep things running until the last day. The phone still rings quite a bit. We answer it and explain the situation to whoever is on the other end. It’s just how things go sometimes. Businesses move and you just have to get on with it. We’ll miss this little spot.
