The Grand Ashok Bangalore

The Grand Ashok Bangalore is tucked away in RT Nagar at Thimmaiah Garden. We are located at 1/4 on 10th Cross. It’s a pretty busy neighborhood in Bangalore, and we have been a part of it for quite some time now. The building itself has a lot of character, though it’s showing its age in a few spots. We have some plants out front that we try to keep alive, but the Bangalore sun can be tough on them. Inside, the rooms are simple and we try to keep things as tidy as possible. Most of us who work here live nearby, so we walk or take a scooter to get in. It’s a small team, so we all end up doing a bit of everything, whether it’s checking someone in or helping out in the kitchen when things get backed up. The street can be a bit noisy with traffic, but that’s just part of living in the city. We don't use any fancy scripts when we talk to guests. We just say hello and help them find what they need. Sometimes the internet acts up and we have to apologize while we wait for it to come back. We focus on the basic things, like making sure the sheets are fresh and the water is hot. It’s a practical place for people who just need a spot to stay while they are in town for work or family.
