The Grand Ashok Bangalore

The Grand Ashok is situated in the High Grounds area of Bangalore, right on Kumara Krupa road. Our address is simply Kumara Kurupa, High Grounds, Bangalore-01. Being in the heart of the city means we have seen a lot of changes over the years. This is not a new, modern hotel made of glass and steel. It is an older place with a bit of history to it. We have large grounds, which is something you do not see much of in the center of Bangalore anymore. The staff here includes people who have worked at this location for a long time. Our daily routine involves taking care of the gardens and making sure the guest rooms are ready. It is a lot of walking because the property is quite spread out. High Grounds is a bit of a fancy name, but for us, it is just the place where we work. We deal with all sorts of events, from weddings to simple stays. The noise from the main road can be a bit much sometimes, but once you get inside the gates, it calms down. We do not have a mission statement or anything like that. We just show up, do the laundry, fix the pipes, and talk to the guests. It is a traditional kind of hotel life. Bangalore-01 is a busy place to be, but we just keep doing our thing every single day.
