The Gateway Travels

Our office for The Gateway Travels is tucked away in 172 Dasarahalli 1st Main, 3rd Cross in the LIC Colony. We’re in the Ramdas Building, which is right behind Agarwal Bavan. If you find the food place, you’ve basically found us. The office isn't very big, mostly just desks and a few computers for booking tickets and checking schedules. We handle a lot of phone calls throughout the day. People are always asking about bus timings or how to get to the airport from here. It gets a bit hectic when it's holiday season and everyone wants to go somewhere at the same time. We’ve got maps on the walls that are probably a bit outdated now, but they stay up there anyway. The building is a bit old, so the stairs can be a bit squeaky when people come up to see us. We spend a lot of time on the phone with drivers and other agents. It’s mostly just making sure people get from one place to another without too much trouble. We don't have any fancy brochures, just a lot of printed lists and notes pinned to the boards. Sometimes we share a snack from Agarwal Bavan when it gets late in the evening. It’s just us doing the work, day in and day out, in this little corner of Dasarahalli, trying to keep everyone's travel plans on track. We stay open until late.
