The Enclave

Down here in Karwar, we’re located pretty close to the Fishing Harbour. You can usually smell the salt in the air and sometimes the fish when the wind blows the right way. The Enclave is just a spot where we handle our business near the coast. It’s a simple building, nothing too tall or modern, which fits in fine with the rest of the neighborhood here in Karnataka. The pin code is 581 334, in case anyone is looking for us by mail. We spend a lot of time just managing the day-to-day things that come with being near the water. It gets quite hot during the summer, so we keep the windows open for whatever breeze we can get. The people around here are mostly locals who’ve lived in Karwar their whole lives. We see the boats going out and coming in from the harbour every day. It’s a routine that we’ve become a part of over the years. Our office isn't anything special to look at, just a place with some files and a few chairs for when people stop by to talk. We don’t have a big staff, just a few of us making sure everything stays on track. It’s a slow pace of life compared to the big cities, and we like it that way. We just do our work and go home when the sun starts setting over the water. There is always someone nearby if you need to ask a question or find the place.
