The Design Habitat

The Design Habitat is located at No. A/204 in the Gopalan Residency over in Vijayanagar. We are pretty close to Pipe Line Road, which makes for a good landmark for anyone trying to find their way to us. Operating out of a residency means it feels a bit more personal and less like a cold office building. We’ve been here for a while, using this space to get all our design work done. The room is usually filled with various materials and sketches. It is just the way we work, with things spread out so we can see everything at once. Vijayanagar is a busy part of Bangalore, but once you get inside the residency, it’s actually quite peaceful. This helps us focus when we have a lot of drawing or planning to finish by the end of the day. We are just a few people who enjoy the process of making things look right. We don’t have a big corporate setup or anything like that. It’s just our workspace at A/204 where we spend most of our waking hours. Sometimes the traffic on Pipe Line Road is a bit much, but that’s just Bangalore for you. We keep a regular schedule and just try to stay on top of the projects we have. It’s honest work and we like being based in this part of the city. We generally stay here until the work is finished.
