The Coimbatore Metal Mart

If you ever find yourself on Walltax Road, we are at number 222. The Coimbatore Metal Mart has been sitting on this stretch for quite a while. It’s a noisy street, lots of trucks and traffic all day long. We deal in metal, so there’s always the sound of things being moved around or clanging together. It’s a bit dusty, to be honest, but that’s just how it is with this kind of work. We aren't trying to win any awards for decor. The floors are concrete and the walls have seen better days. We have a small crew, and most of us have been here for years. We know the regular customers who come in looking for specific pieces of metal or scrap. Sometimes it’s a bit of a scramble to find exactly what someone needs in the piles, but we usually manage. It's honest work and it keeps us busy from morning until the shutters go down. We don't have a website that does much, and we still do a lot of things with pen and paper. It’s just easier that way for us. People know they can just stop by and talk to us directly. We’re just a local business trying to make a living on a busy road. It's not complicated, and we like it that way. We just keep our heads down and get the orders out as they come in.
