The Chancery Pavilion

Our office is on the 2nd floor of House No 21, over on 5th Cross in Jai Bharat Nagar. It’s a bit of a climb up the stairs, especially if you’re carrying something heavy. Bangalore has grown so much around us, but this little pocket of Jai Bharat Nagar still feels a bit like the old days. We handle things from this small space, mostly doing the behind-the-scenes work that keeps everything else running. It’s not a grand building with a lobby; it’s just a regular house that we’ve converted into a working space. We have desks pushed against the walls and calendars pinned up everywhere to keep track of dates. The traffic on the main road can be a nightmare, so we’re always glad to be tucked away in this cross-street. In the mornings, you can hear the neighbors and the street vendors going about their business. We usually have the windows open to let in the breeze, though it gets dusty. Our team is small, and we spend a lot of time just talking through things over coffee. There’s no big corporate vibe here. We just come in, do the work that needs to be done, and try to stay organized. Sometimes the power cuts out and we just sit and wait for it to come back, taking a break from the computers. It’s a very simple, practical way of working that we've gotten used to over the years. We just keep at it.
