The Chancerry Pavilion

We are located at 285 in Bel Colony, right here in Bangalore. The city is always crowded and the traffic near The Chancerry Pavilion can get pretty stuck, especially during the evening rush hour. We have been operating from this spot for quite some time now. It’s a big building, so there is always something that needs fixing or scrubbing. From the front desk to the kitchen, someone is always moving around. We don't have a lot of fancy talk about what we do. We just show up, open the doors, and get to work. The laundry pile is usually huge by midday, and the kitchen smells like spices and coffee from early morning until late at night. We have a mix of people working here. Some have been here for years and know every creak in the floorboards, while others are just starting out and learning the ropes. We don't use those corporate scripts when we talk to people. If someone asks a question, we just answer it directly as best we can. It’s a busy life, keeping a place like this running smoothly for everyone who stops by. We spend a lot of time on our feet. Sometimes we sit out back for a ten-minute break when it’s finally quiet. The area around Bel Colony is mostly residential, so we try not to be too loud at night, though the kitchen can get a bit clattery when we’re finishing up the dinner service.
