The Baskarone Hotel

The Baskarone Hotel is located at 61 1st Main Road, which is right near the Isrobustand in Bikasipura. It’s a busy little corner of Bangalore. We are pretty close to the bus stand, so there is always a lot of movement and noise around here. It’s not the kind of place where you’ll find a huge lobby with marble floors. It’s more of a practical building for people who need a place to stay while they are passing through or doing business in this part of town. The rooms are basic but they have what you need. We spend a lot of our time making sure things are clean and that the guests are okay. The street outside can be a bit of a mess with all the rickshaws and people heading to the bus stop. We’ve been running things here for a bit, and we know most of the shopkeepers on the 1st Main Road. It’s a local neighborhood vibe. Sometimes the water pressure isn't great or the bells are ringing outside, but we just deal with things as they come. It’s a family-run kind of feeling here even if it’s a hotel. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. We just open the doors every morning and take care of whoever walks in. It’s a lot of work but it keeps us busy and connected to the area.
