We are set up on the ground floor of building B 77, right in the Dyavasandra Industrial Estate off Whitefield Road. Being in an industrial area means there is always something going on outside, usually trucks moving or people busy with various types of work. Our space is pretty simple since we are on the ground floor, which makes it easy to just walk in and out. It’s a bit of a gritty area, not like the shiny IT parks you see in other parts of Bangalore, but it suits us just fine. Inside, the walls are a bit plain and we have a few long tables where everyone sits with their gear. We have some shelves filled with manuals and random parts that we might need one day. It gets a bit dusty because of the road outside, so we are always wiping down our monitors. The commute to Whitefield is always a bit of a journey for everyone, but we have gotten used to it over time. We don't have any fancy decorations or a big lobby. We just come in, get our tasks done, and head home. Most of the time, the focus is just on the technical work at hand. It is a practical environment where we don't worry much about how things look, as long as the work gets finished. It feels like a real, working part of the city. We often grab tea from the stall just down the road when we need a break.
