Tgif

Tgif is basically just Sanal Joy and the small setup we have here. It’s not a big corporation or anything like that. When people hear the name, they usually think of the weekend, which is sort of the point. We wanted a place that felt like that. Sanal runs things mostly, and you’ll usually find him around handling whatever needs doing. It’s a simple operation. We don’t have a lot of staff or a complicated hierarchy. If you call, you probably talk to one of us directly. The space itself isn't huge. We have some basic furniture and the usual things you need to keep a business running day to day. It gets a bit cluttered with papers and coffee mugs, but we know where everything is. It’s the kind of place where we know the neighbors and they know us. We don’t spend much on decorating or trying to look modern. We just focus on the work we have in front of us. Some days are slow and we just sit and talk, and other days we are running around trying to keep up. It’s a very local, hands-on kind of thing. People come by because they know Sanal or they’ve heard we are easy to deal with. There’s no big secret to how we work. We just show up, do the jobs, and go home. That’s what Tgif is about for us.
