Texmaco Limited

You will find us at 254-A on Dr. Annie Besant Road in the Worli area. It is a very central location and everyone in Mumbai knows this road. We have a fairly large office here compared to some of the smaller shops. We handle a lot of the engineering coordination and administrative work for Texmaco. Even though it is a bigger name, our office feels like a regular workplace. We have rows of desks and lots of people on the phones talking to different sites. It is not a silent place; there is always someone discussing a drawing or a contract. We have been in this building for many years. The lift is a bit slow and the lobby is quite plain. We don't have any of those modern lounge areas or bean bags. We just have a canteen where we get our tea and lunch. Most of us have been here a long time, so we are like a small community. We deal with a lot of paperwork and technical drawings every day. It can be stressful when deadlines are close, but we manage. We don't use a lot of fancy words to describe what we do. We just make sure the projects are moving forward and the records are kept straight. It’s a busy life in Worli, but we are used to the pace and the noise of the city.
