Texas Engg. & Contracting Co. is run from an office at 303, Vidyut Nagar. It is a smaller setup, which is how we like to keep things. Being in Vidyut Nagar means we are in a relatively decent area, away from some of the heavier industrial zones. We focus on engineering and various contracting jobs. Most of our work involves a lot of planning and looking over blueprints before we ever head out to a site. The office at 303 is filled with files, maps, and old project records that we keep just in case. It is a bit of a lived-in space, not one of those sterile offices you see in movies. We have a few desks squeezed in and a table where we usually have our tea and talk about what needs to be done next. The team is quite small, so we all end up doing a bit of everything, whether it’s answering the phone or checking technical specs. It’s not always glamorous, especially when we are stuck behind the desk for days, but it’s what we know how to do. We’ve been operating as Texas Engg. & Contracting Co. for a while, and we’ve built up a routine that works. People in the neighborhood know where to find us if they need something. We just keep our heads down and do the engineering work.
