Telecom Sector

The office is down in Old Pallavaram, specifically at 119 Eveready Nagar. If you are coming from the main part of Chennai, it can be a bit of a trek depending on the traffic. We deal with the telecom sector, which basically means a lot of cables, signal issues, and coordination with technicians who are out in the field. Chennai is always hot, so the air conditioning in the office is pretty much our best friend from March until November. It is a basic setup here, nothing too fancy, just enough space for the equipment and the desks. We have been in this spot for a while and the locals in Eveready Nagar are used to seeing our vans coming and going at odd hours. Telecom work never really stops because people always want their phones and internet to work perfectly. We spend our mornings going over the faults from the night before and trying to figure out where the line breaks are. It is a lot of steady work and not much excitement, but it keeps us busy. The street outside is narrow so parking is always a bit of a nightmare if you don't get in early. We just try to get the jobs done and keep things running smoothly for everyone in the area. It is just a regular workplace with regular people trying to stay on top of all the technical stuff that comes our way.
