Teekays Software Services is located at 35 Lake Side View in T. Dasarahalli, Bangalore. It is actually C/O Thiyagarajan’s place, situated on the First Main Third Cross. Having an office with a view of the lake is one of the better parts of working here. It is a quiet spot, which is good for us because we do a lot of software work that requires concentration. We are not a massive tech firm with thousands of people. It is a small, local operation where we mostly focus on coding and technical support. The setup is very informal. We do not have a dress code or fancy meetings. We just get to our desks and start working on whatever projects are on the list for that day. Being in a residential area like this means we have a very different vibe than those big offices in Electronic City. It feels more like a home-based business, even though we handle some pretty complex software tasks. We have been here for a good amount of time, and the local people know us. Sometimes we go for a walk by the lake when we get stuck on a problem. It is a simple life, but the work is steady and keeps us busy. We do not have a big corporate story to tell. We are just a few people writing code and helping out where we can from our little corner.
