Balanager Township is where we spend most of our days. The area is industrial and quite busy with trucks and people moving things around. Tecumseh Products India Private Limited has been situated here for a good amount of time now. If you walk down the main road, you can see our gates. This isn't a fancy place, just where the daily work happens. Some days it is very dusty outside, especially when the wind picks up near the township buildings. We have a lot of metal and machinery inside the shop. Most of us have worked here for years and know the rhythms of the machines by heart. It gets loud sometimes, but that is just how a factory environment is. People come and go through the gates at shift changes. There is a small tea stall not too far away where some of the guys go during their breaks. The weather in this part of town can get really hot in the summer, making the shed feel like an oven, but we keep at it. This is a regular workplace doing what we do. Nothing more to it than that. We handle a lot of parts and shipping crates daily. The floor is concrete and has some scuffs from the heavy pallet jacks. We don’t spend much time worrying about the office looking perfect because the real work is out on the floor. It is just how it is here. Most of the folks live nearby, so they walk or bike in. This is a steady place.
