Techno Instruments

You have to look a bit closely to find us at No 2, PM Lane, right off the SP Road Cross. If you know Bangalore, you know how SP Road is—it’s packed with every kind of electronic part you can imagine. Techno Instruments is tucked away in one of those lanes where the sunlight barely reaches the ground because the buildings are so close. We spend our days surrounded by multimeters, oscilloscopes, and all sorts of testing gear. It is a bit of a maze inside with shelves reaching up to the ceiling. We have been here for years, and we have seen the street change quite a lot, though the noise of the carts and the honking never really stops. People come to us when they need a specific tool for their lab or their workshop. We don't have a big fancy showroom, just a counter and a lot of technical stuff that we know inside out. Usually, there’s a tea glass sitting on someone’s desk and a few open manuals lying around. It is a small team here, and we mostly just talk shop with the engineers and students who wander in looking for something they can't find anywhere else. The lane is narrow, so don't try to bring a car right to the door; it is better to walk from the main road. We keep the lights on and the sensors ready for whoever needs their equipment sorted. There is always someone checking a circuit.
