Techno Care

We've been at Banashankari 2nd Stage for quite some time now, specifically over in Poonam Vihar in Andheri East. Most people know the building, it’s number 188. The shop isn't anything fancy, just a room with a lot of tools and parts scattered around the back bench. We usually get in early because the traffic around here gets pretty bad by mid-morning. Someone is always dropping off a laptop or a phone that stopped working for no reason. It’s mostly just us sitting behind the counter, trying to figure out why things break. Sometimes it's a simple fix, other times we have to tell people it's not worth the money. We don't have a big team or anything, just a couple of guys who know their way around a circuit board. The lighting in here could be better, but it works for what we do. We see a lot of the same faces from around the neighborhood. People stop by just to ask a quick question or get a cable they lost. It gets dusty because of the road work outside, so we’re always wiping down the glass. We keep a small kettle for tea in the corner. If you walk past the big gate, you’ll see our sign, though the letters are a bit faded now. We just try to get the work done and get home on time most days. It’s a quiet life for the most part, just fixing things.
