Technical Assistant

This is the workshop of Punith B. R. located in the village of Nandigunda, over in Somavarpet Taluk in the Kodagu district. It’s a rural area, so things work a bit differently here than they do in the big cities. We don't have a big office or anything. It's just a space we use to help the local community with their technical needs. People in the village and the surrounding post area know us by name. Whether it’s a piece of equipment that’s acting up or some digital help someone needs, they just come by the house. We have been part of this community for a long time. There’s no marketing or advertising here; it’s all just word of mouth from one neighbor to another. Kodagu is a beautiful place, and we enjoy working in a quieter environment. The pace is a bit slower, which lets us take our time to make sure things are fixed properly. We use simple tools and whatever parts we can get our hands on. It’s practical work. We aren't trying to be the biggest business around, we just want to be useful to the people living here in Nandigunda. If you’re passing through or live nearby and have a technical issue, you can find us easily enough. Everyone knows where the Chandrappa family stays. We just keep things honest and do our best with what we have.
