We run Techie Associates Software Solutions Private Limited out of D115 in the Monarch Serenity Apartments. It’s located on Thanisandra Main Road, right in the RK Hegde Nagar area. Using an apartment as a base works for us because it’s a bit more relaxed than a standard office block. You get to know the neighbors and there’s a bit of a homey feel to the place. We have our computers set up in what would probably be a living room, and that is where all the work happens. It’s not a huge setup, just a few of us who know a thing or two about software. We didn't want a big, cold office, so this spot on Thanisandra Main Road suited us just fine. Sometimes we have to deal with the usual apartment noises, but mostly it’s quiet enough for us to focus. We don't have any fancy signs or a receptionist. If you come by, you’ll just find us working. We started Techie Associates Software Solutions Private Limited because we wanted to do things our own way, without all the corporate pressure. It’s a simple operation where we focus on what we’re good at. We enjoy being in RK Hegde Nagar; it's a developing part of the city and feels like things are always changing around here. We just take it one day at a time and try to stay on top of our work without making things too complex.
