Our office is tucked away at number 7, right opposite Sunrise Chambers near the Civil Hospital compound in Ulsoor. It is not a flashy place at all. It is actually quite quiet compared to the main road, which we like. We have been working out of this space for a while now, mostly handling technical stuff and repairs. The walls are painted a dull white and there are cables everywhere you look. It is just the way things go when you are fixing machines and looking at circuit boards all day. We have a few old desks and some sturdy chairs for when people come in to drop off their equipment. The hospital being right there means there is always an ambulance siren in the background, but you get used to it after a week. We usually start the day by clearing the backlog of emails and checking which parts arrived in the mail. It is a small team, so everyone does a bit of everything, from answering the door to cleaning the floor. We don't have a receptionist or a fancy waiting room with magazines. If you come by, you will probably see one of us with a screwdriver in hand or staring at a monitor. The coffee shop around the corner is where we get our fuel for the long afternoons. It is a basic setup that works for the kind of practical work we do every day.
