Teamleader In Telemarketing

You can find us over at 1090 6th Cross, in D Block of AECS Layout. This is in the Kundanahalli area of Bangalore, 560037. It is a busy little spot filled with people on phones. Since this is a telemarketing setup, the main thing you hear when you walk in is the sound of voices talking all at once. We have rows of desks with headsets and computers. It is a bit of a squeeze sometimes when the whole team is in. Bangalore traffic makes it hard for everyone to get here at the same time, so the mornings usually start a bit staggered. We have a small break area where people drink tea and complain about their commute. The walls have some old calendars and notes pinned up to keep track of targets. It is not the most glamorous work, but it keeps everyone busy. We deal with a lot of lists and phone numbers all day long. Sometimes the headsets break and we have to swap them out for new ones from the cupboard. The air conditioning works most of the time, but when it doesn't, we open the windows and let the Bangalore dust in. It is just a group of people trying to get through their call lists before the shift ends. We manage the team and try to make sure everyone knows what they are doing. It gets pretty loud in here when we are all on calls.
