We’re out here at Plot 78 in Electronic City, right off Hosur Road. It’s a bit of a trek for some people, but it’s where all the action is. The area is always under construction or has some new building going up, so finding us for the first time might take a minute. We deal with solar stuff all day long. The sun is pretty hot out here on the roof sometimes when we're checking things, but that's just part of the job. It's not a fancy office with leather chairs. We have a lot of equipment lying around and people coming in and out in work boots. Most of the guys have been here for years and know the layout of the yard like the back of their hand. We spend a lot of time looking at panels and cables. Lunch is usually whatever we brought from home or something quick from a nearby stall. It gets busy during the middle of the day, then things quiet down once the sun starts setting. We aren't trying to be anything we aren't. We just show up, do the work, and head home in the traffic like everyone else. The gate is usually open, so you just drive in and look for the main door. It’s a practical place for practical work. Sometimes the internet goes out when the weather is bad, but we just keep moving. It's a long day usually, but we like being out in the open air rather than stuck in some cramped downtown office.
