Taj Residency

Taj Residency is located here in Bangalore, though the history of how we got started is a bit tied up with moving from Delhi years ago. It’s funny how life works out. One of the guys who runs the place finished his 10th grade back in 2002 under the CBSE board in Delhi before coming down south to Karnataka. We’ve been operating in this city for a while now. The building is a bit older, with some quirks in the plumbing and floors that creak if you walk too fast. It’s not one of those five-star places you see on TV, but it’s ours. We spend a lot of time cleaning and making sure everything is in its place. Bangalore is a busy city, and our spot offers a bit of a break from the noise outside. We mostly deal with people traveling through who need a place to stay for a night or two. Sometimes the neighbors’ dog barks too much, but mostly it’s peaceful. We aren't fancy people. We just wake up, check the rooms, and talk to the folks coming in. It’s practical work. We’ve seen the city change a lot since 2002, but we’re still here, doing the same basic things every day. It's a living, and it keeps us connected to people from all over. We try to keep the fans running well and the sheets clean for whoever arrives.
