Taj Hotels

Our office is over in J.C. Nagar in Bangalore, at a place called Leela Sadan. We are on the 1st Main and 1st Cross, right at number 71 in Modi Garden. It’s a bit of a residential area, but we have our workspace set up here. Even though we are part of the Taj name, this specific office is more about the behind-the-scenes work. We don't have the big marble lobbies here; it’s just us with our computers and phones. We spend the day coordinating different things for the hotels. It might be managing staff schedules or dealing with suppliers who bring in the goods. There is always a lot of chatter in the office and the smell of coffee. The traffic in J.C. Nagar can be a nightmare sometimes, so we are used to people coming in a bit late and frustrated. We just try to keep things calm and get the work finished. We aren't here to give you a sales pitch. We are just the people who make sure the back-end stuff is handled so the hotels can function. It’s a lot of data entry and phone calls, to be honest. We’ve been in this building for a while and we know the local shops around the corner where we get our lunch. It is a very normal, hardworking environment without any of the fancy polish or the corporate attitude. We just get on with it.
