Taj Hotels

I work in the sales and marketing department for Taj Hotels, but specifically at the Vivanta by Taj location inside ITPB in Bangalore. It is a very busy place because of all the tech companies nearby. If you’ve ever been to Whitefield, you know the traffic is just terrible most days. Our office is tucked away in the building, and it is usually full of the sound of people typing and phones ringing. We aren't the ones you see in the fancy uniforms at the front door. We are the ones in the back handling the emails and the bookings. It is a lot of paperwork and looking at screens all day long. The air conditioning is always a bit too cold in here, so I usually have to bring a sweater. We don't have a polished way of talking about ourselves. We are just a group of people trying to keep up with all the requests that come in. Bangalore is a fast city, and working in ITPB feels even faster. We eat a lot of quick lunches from the canteen nearby. It’s a regular job like anyone else has. We don't have any special philosophy. We just get the work done and head home to deal with the traffic again. It is a pretty standard office life in a big city, and we just do our best.
