Our building sits at 66 Residency Road, which is right in the middle of everything in Bangalore. It’s a busy street, and you can always hear the traffic and the horns outside. Inside, we try to keep things a bit more relaxed for the people staying with us. We’ve got a lobby where people wait for their cabs and a front desk that’s manned pretty much all the time. The rooms are what you’d expect from a place in the city center. We spend a lot of time making sure the beds are made and the bathrooms are clean. It’s a lot of work keeping a place this size running smoothly. Our staff comes from all over the city, and they’ve seen it all when it comes to travelers. We aren't using any big words to describe ourselves; we’re just a hotel on a main road. People come here for work meetings or just to see the city. We have a kitchen that stays busy during breakfast and dinner. Sometimes the elevators are a bit slow when everyone is trying to leave at once. We’ve been part of this neighborhood for a long time and we’ve seen the buildings around us change. It’s just a place to stay while you’re in Bangalore, nothing more and nothing less. We just focus on the daily tasks of running the place and helping our guests.
