Our shop is located at number 24 on the 8th Main road in Gmpalya, Bangalore. The pin code is 560075 if you’re looking it up on a map. It’s a busy little stretch of road with a lot of movement all day long. We’ve got a fairly simple setup here. The front door is usually kept open during the day to let some air in, though it brings in some of the dust from the street too. Inside, there are shelves filled with various things we need for the day’s work and a couple of long benches where we do most of our tasks. It’s not the most organized place in the world, but it works for us. We have a clock on the wall that’s been stuck at ten past two for months, and nobody has bothered to change the battery yet. The floor is concrete and a bit stained, but it’s easy to sweep. We have a small back room where we keep the extra supplies and a sink that leaks a little bit if you don’t turn the handle all the way. People in the area know where we are, and we often have neighbors sticking their heads in just to say hello. It’s a practical, no-nonsense kind of place. We don't have a website or anything like that, just this physical space where we show up every morning to do the work.
