System Engineer

This is Ravikanth S’s place, son of Swamy Rao. We are based in Hulivana, near Keragodu in the Mandya district. It’s a rural area, so we know most of the people who come through the door. I started this because there wasn't really anyone else nearby to handle technical repairs or setup. It’s a small operation run right out of the local area. I don’t have a fancy storefront. Mostly, people just know to look for me near the post office. The work is steady because everything seems to break eventually. I spend my time checking circuits and trying to keep old systems running for as long as possible. It’s better to fix things than to throw them away. My father helped me get the space sorted out. It’s a bit cluttered with manuals and spare parts, but I can find what I need when I need it. Mandya can get quite hot, so the afternoons are usually quiet until the sun goes down a bit. I don’t have a big marketing plan or a sales team. I just do the work and hope people are happy enough to tell their friends. It’s a simple way to make a living. I like being able to help the farmers and small business owners around here with their tech stuff. It feels good to be useful in my own village.
