Our place is tucked away in Hormavu Village on the second floor of building 44/2. It is not one of those big corporate parks you see in the city center. The stairs are concrete and a little steep, so you definitely wake up by the time you reach the top. Inside, we have a few desks pushed together and some chairs that have seen better days. Swiftsense is just a small operation. We spend most of our time looking at code or talking about project fixes while the ceiling fan hums overhead. In the afternoons, the sun hits the front window pretty hard, so we usually keep the blinds halfway down. You can hear the local street vendors calling out and the sound of motorbikes navigating the narrow village roads below. It is a bit dusty sometimes because of the construction nearby, but that is just part of being here. We don't have a fancy lobby or a receptionist. If someone comes by, one of us just gets up from our chair to open the door. We drink a lot of tea from the stall around the corner. It is a practical setup for the work we do. Nothing is very polished here, but the computers work and we get things done. It feels more like a home office than a big business. We usually stay late when there is a deadline, and the village gets really quiet then.
