If you walk down 1st Main Road in Sudhama Nagar, you’ll find us at number 52. We’re quite close to the Ayyappa Temple, so during festivals, the whole street gets very crowded and colorful. We usually have to remind people to plan their visit around those times if they’re driving. The center is a straightforward place. We have a front desk that's usually piled with files, and a few rows of plastic chairs for people to sit while they wait. It’s not a huge place, but it works for what we need. The morning shift is always the busiest, with the sun coming through the front door and everyone rushing to get their tests done before the day really starts. We’ve got a few technicians who have been with us for years, and they know most of the people in the neighborhood by their first names. Sometimes the neighborhood dogs hang out near the entrance, and we just let them be. We try to keep things quiet inside so people feel comfortable. It’s a very local feel here. We don’t have a big corporate team; it’s just us doing the daily work of running a lab in a busy part of Bangalore. We keep the floors clean and the samples organized, and that takes up most of our energy during the day. It gets a bit hot in the afternoons, so we keep the windows open for a breeze.
