Surya Gift & Fancy Paradise

At Surya Gift & Fancy Paradise, we spend most of our days inside the N J B Building right on the Main Road in Kammanahalli. It’s a lively part of town, and there’s always something going on outside our door. We sell a bit of everything, from small trinkets to things you might need for a party. The Paradise part of our name might sound a bit much, but it’s just a name we liked when we started out. Our shop is packed with shelves, and sometimes it’s hard to keep everything perfectly organized when people are browsing through. We’ve been in Kammanahalli long enough to see the shops around us change, but we’re still here in the same building. Sometimes the lights flicker a bit or the floor needs a good sweep after a rainy day, but that’s life in a busy shop. We don’t have a big team, usually just a couple of us around to answer questions or wrap up a gift. It gets pretty loud with the traffic on the Main Road, but we’ve gotten used to it over time. We aren't trying to be the biggest store in Bangalore; we just want to be a reliable place for the people living nearby. If you’re ever walking down the street near N J B Building, you can’t really miss us. We’re just local folks running a shop we care about. Sometimes we have to move things around to make more room for new stock, and it can look a bit messy for a day or two.
