Our office is located at NO 39, 2nd Cross, 2nd Main in Old Bank Colony, Konankunte. Surmount Software Solutions Private Limited operates out of this Bengaluru neighborhood. It's a fairly standard setup where we spend our hours working on different software bits. The area is mostly residential so it stays pretty calm throughout the morning and afternoon. We have a small team here. We aren't doing anything flashy. Most of the time is spent debugging or writing lines that hopefully don't break anything. We started this because we knew how to handle the work and wanted a place of our own to do it. The furniture isn't brand new and the coffee machine is a bit temperamental sometimes. But it works for what we need. We don't spend money on fancy advertisements or big slogans. We just focus on the tasks people give us. If a problem comes up, we sit around the table and talk it through until we find a way around it. It is practical work. Sometimes we stay late when something is being stubborn, but that is just how the software business is. We like being in Old Bank Colony. It feels like home. We just show up every day, do the work, and head back. There is no complicated philosophy behind it. We are just local people running a small software shop in Konankunte and trying to do a decent job.
