Surfin Gifts & Premiums

If you find yourself in Jeevanhalli Ganigarpet at 209, that is where you will see us. Surfin Gifts & Premiums is a bit different from the other shops around here. We have a lot of stuff tucked into corners—ribbons, boxes, and all sorts of items meant for giving. It can get a bit crowded when we have a new shipment of stock, and sometimes you have to turn sideways to get through the aisles. The smell of paper and cardboard is always there. We have been here for a good while, and we have seen the neighborhood change quite a bit. People come to us when they need something for a birthday or a local celebration. We do not use any fancy machines to wrap things; we just do it by hand with a pair of scissors that have been in the drawer since we opened. The lighting could be better, but it gives the place a cozy feel, almost like someone's living room that got filled with too many things. We spend our time checking through the gift items and making sure nothing is broken. It is a nice way to make a living, seeing people pick out things for others. We just keep our heads down, do the work, and hope the rain does not leak through the front door again this year like last time.
