Suresh S Lokre

Suresh S Lokre has been at 36 Brigade Road for quite some time now. If you know this part of town, you know how busy it gets, especially on the weekends when everyone is out walking around. Our office isn't anything fancy, just a regular place where we get our work done. Most days start with the sound of traffic outside and the shutters going up on the neighboring shops. We spend a lot of time sitting at the desks, handling whatever comes through the door. It’s a bit cramped sometimes with all the papers and things we've collected over the years, but it works for us. People often drop by just because they are in the area or they saw the sign while walking to the shops nearby. We don’t really do much in the way of big announcements or anything like that. It’s just Suresh and a few of us making sure things are moving along. The building itself has seen better days, but the location is hard to beat even with the parking trouble. We’ve seen many businesses come and go on this street while we just keep doing what we do. Sometimes the power goes out or the internet acts up, and we just take a break until it’s back. It is a very normal way to run a business. We like the rhythm of Brigade Road and being right in the middle of all that energy every day.
