Surbana Jurong Private Limited

Our office at Surbana Jurong Private Limited is situated at Jurong House, 1/5 Palace Road. Being on Palace Road gives us a bit of a central spot, and it is usually quite easy for people to find us. The building itself, Jurong House, is where we spend the bulk of our time every day. It’s a busy place with a lot of people moving around between floors. We work on a variety of different things, from big urban plans to smaller building details. There are always meetings going on in one corner and people huddled over computer screens in another. It’s the kind of environment where there is always something happening and the phones never seem to stop ringing for long. We don't go in for anything too fancy in the office setup; it is mostly just rows of desks and plenty of space for large-format printers that we use for the site plans. We spend a lot of time analyzing data and looking at maps. It is a lot of technical work that requires a lot of concentration from the whole team. The group is pretty diverse, and you’ll hear a lot of different opinions on how to solve a particular problem. We just try to get the work done as efficiently as we can. Palace Road is a nice area to walk around during lunch when we need to clear our heads from the drawings. We’ve been here for a while and have seen the neighborhood change quite a bit over the years.
