Suraj Advertisers India Pvt Ltd is based out of Jayanagar East, at 46/1 in an industrial shed complex. We are quite close to the Ragiguda Temple, which is a big landmark for everyone around here. During festivals, the whole street fills up with people, but usually, it’s just us working away in the shed. Because it’s a shed, it’s not exactly a climate-controlled office environment. It can get a bit warm in the afternoons, and there’s usually the sound of printing or cutting going on. We do a lot of advertising work, mostly making the actual physical displays and signs. There are always rolls of material and cans of paint around. Jayanagar is a nice area, even the industrial parts of it. We like being near the temple because it makes the location easy to describe to anyone who needs to find us. We don’t have a fancy entrance with a receptionist. You just come in through the main gate of the complex and find our unit. It’s a very practical space. We’ve been here for a good amount of time and have gotten used to the rhythm of the neighborhood. It’s a bit rough around the edges, but we get the work done. Most of our days are spent making sure the colors look right and the frames are sturdy. It’s a simple, hardworking life in the shed.
