Supervisor

My name is Prakash, and my father is Puttashamaiah. We live in Doddahosahally, which is a village in the Madhugiri taluk of Tumkur district. Being a supervisor in this part of Karnataka means you have to be ready for anything. I spend a lot of my time traveling around the local area to make sure everything is running the way it should. It is a quiet place for the most part, but the work keeps me on my toes from the moment I wake up. I usually get my mail at the Doddahosahally post office. People in the village know me and my family well. The landscape around here in Tumkur is quite nice, though it can get very dry during the summer months. I don't use any fancy tools, just my notebook and my phone to keep track of what needs to happen. I am not one for big speeches or complicated plans; I just like to see the work get done right the first time. Sometimes things break or people don't show up, and then I have to figure out a way to fix it. It is just a normal job like any other. I have lived in this district my whole life, so I understand how things work around here. If I am not working, I am usually just at home resting or talking with the neighbors about the weather or the crops. It is a good, steady life for me. I stay busy and keep things moving.
