We’re way up on the 10th floor of Brigade Towers on Brigade Road. We have two units, 1011 and 1012, but we mostly just keep the doors open between them. Sunsoko is the name on the door. It’s a bit of a climb if the elevators are busy, which they usually are in this building. Being on Brigade Road means there’s always something happening outside. It’s loud and busy, but up here it’s relatively quiet. We work on solar energy stuff. It’s interesting work, though it involves a lot of looking at charts and technical specs. The view from the window is actually pretty nice, you can see quite a bit of the city. Our office isn't one of those modern places with bean bags and free snacks. It’s just desks, computers, and a lot of cable samples lying around. We’ve been here for a while and the landlord is decent. We aren't a massive firm. We're just a group of people who know a lot about sun power. We spend a lot of time talking to folks who want to save some money on their electric bills. It’s practical work. Sometimes the printer jams and we spend an hour fixing it, just like any other office. We enjoy what we do, even if it’s just mundane office stuff most of the time. We usually grab some coffee from the place downstairs when we need a break from the screens. It’s a good little routine that keeps us going through the week.
