Sunmark Produce

Starting work at Kalasipalyam New Extension is always a bit of a scramble. We are tucked away in the 6th Block at number 9, and the streets around here are always crowded with people and carts moving around. Usually, we are up and moving before the sun is even fully out because that’s when everything happens in this part of town. The air always has that smell of fresh earth and maybe a bit of diesel from the delivery vans. Inside our space, there’s always a lot of crates stacked up, and sometimes it’s hard to find a place to sit down and eat lunch. We don’t have any fancy signs or a big lobby. It’s just a practical workspace where we sort through everything that comes in. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we never seem to find the time to get around to it. Most of the guys here have been working together for years, so we don't have to talk much to know what needs to be done next. When the afternoon sun hits the front door, it gets pretty warm inside, so we usually prop the door open with a brick to get a breeze. It’s a busy life, and there’s always something to move or carry. By the time we shut down for the evening, we are all pretty tired, but it’s a good kind of tired that comes from a long day of physical work.
