You can find us over at Golden Lotus Apartments in Varthur. We are in unit F-06, which basically means we are working out of a residential-style setup. It’s actually quite nice because it doesn’t feel like a cold, industrial office space. Bangalore North can be a nightmare for commuting, so being tucked away in Varthur has its pros and cons. The traffic on the main road is almost always backed up, but once you get inside the gates, it’s quiet enough to focus on the solutions we are building. The office is basically a few rooms with desks pushed against the walls and a lot of cables running along the floor. We do a lot of our work on laptops, often moving from the desk to the small sofa if we need a change of scenery. There’s usually a pot of coffee going, though it’s never quite as good as the stuff you get outside. We don’t really have a big sign out front, just the apartment number. It’s a practical way to run a business without spending too much on a fancy glass building. We spend our hours coding, chatting with clients on the phone, and occasionally complaining about the heat when the AC needs a service. It feels honest and low-key. We are just a group of people trying to make things work in a busy city, one project at a time.
