Sundaram S S is located right here on 8th Cross in Mathikere. It is a small setup, just a single room mostly, at house number one. Mathikere is a crowded place with lots of small lanes and houses packed together. We have been in this spot for a while. Most people who come to see us are from the immediate neighborhood. They walk over because parking a car on 8th Cross is almost impossible anyway. The clinic is very basic. We have a wooden bench for people to sit on while they wait their turn. It is the kind of place where everyone knows everyone else’s business. We don't do anything very complicated. It’s mostly general health stuff for the families living nearby. The light inside isn’t the brightest, and the fan makes a bit of noise, but it gets the job done. We don't have a receptionist or a computer system. Everything is done by hand in a big ledger. It’s old fashioned, but it works for us and the people who visit. Sometimes we just sit and talk with the neighbors even if they aren't sick. It feels more like a community spot than a medical office. We keep regular hours, but sometimes we stay a bit late if someone comes in right at closing time. It’s just how things go in a place like Mathikere. We are easy to find if you know the 8th cross layout and the general vibe of the street.
