Our place is located at number 19 on Kumara Krupa Road, right near the Race Course. Sundaram Architects Pvt Ltd has a pretty good view of the trees from the window, which is nice when you’ve been staring at a computer screen for six hours straight. It is a busy part of town with a lot of cars and people, but our office stays relatively focused on the work inside. We spend most of our time sitting at our desks or heading out to visit various construction sites to check on progress. There is always someone coming in or going out, so the front door gets a lot of use. It is just how we run things here without any big fancy systems. We have stacks of old blueprints in the corner that we probably should have archived years ago. The team is a mix of people who have been here forever and a couple of newer faces. We don't have a big marketing budget or anything like that. We just rely on doing our work and letting people see the results for themselves. It’s a bit of an old-fashioned way of doing business, but it seems to suit us just fine. We like being on Kumara Krupa Road because it’s easy for people to find us. We keep the kettle on for anyone who stops by. It’s a simple, honest way to work.
