Sumuki Fancy Stores

If you are walking down Cholanayakanahalli Main Road in Rabrindranath Tagore Nagar, you will find Sumuki Fancy Stores. We are right at 1/B, just opposite Acharya College. Because we are so close to the college, we get a lot of students coming in for various things. We carry a bit of everything, from bangles and earrings to notebooks and pens. It’s a lively spot because of all the young people around. The shop isn't very large, but we try to make the most of every inch of space we have. Sometimes the sidewalk outside gets blocked by scooters, but that’s just how it is in RT Nagar. We’ve been here for quite some time now. My family runs the place, and we usually take turns behind the counter. We don't really have fancy displays, just some hooks on the walls and glass cases. It’s a practical shop for practical people. We know most of the people who live in the houses behind the main road. They come to us for small things they forgot to buy at the bigger stores. We like the rhythm of the day, from the morning rush to the quieter afternoons. It’s just a normal shop doing its best to stay stocked with the things our neighbors and the students need.
